An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred in the state of Ladakh in the Himalayas, India. The National Seismological Center of India stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was 166 km north of the city of Leh, and at a depth of 105 km.
There were no reports of human casualties or property damage as a result of the earthquake.
