Iran appoints an ambassador to the United Arab Emirates for the first time in eight years on Tuesday.
Reza Amiri, the newly appointed ambassador, previously held the position director general of Iranian expatriates office in Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Last month, Saudi Arabia and Iran also announced Recovery of their diplomatic relations during the talks hosted by Beijing, a deal called a diplomatic coup by China.
Both sides are expected to open their embassies in Their respective capitals within two months since the deal was signed on March 10th.
The UAE is trying to manage long-standing rivalries with Iran and Turkey through dialogue to avoid any new confrontations in the region.
