In Kuwait, an Emir’s decree was issued to form a new government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and last month an Emir’s decree was issued appointing Sheikh Ahmed as prime minister and instructing him to nominate members of the new cabinet. and the Kuwaiti government resigned in January following a parliamentary crisis. The previous government of Kuwait, led by Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, submitted his resignation to Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal al-Ahmad after serving for almost 100 days, which is the fortieth government in the history of the state, the resignation occurred as a result of a crisis in which came the relationship between the executive and the legislature.

Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah is a Kuwaiti politician and military man who has served as Prime Minister since July 24, 2022. Prior to that, he served as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior from March 9, 2022 to 24 July 2022 He is the eldest son of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.
