Today, the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States began at the level of permanent delegates led by Egypt and in the presence of the Assistant Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, at the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League states Fahd bin Khaled Al-Hamali.
The meeting will discuss the development of the situation in Sudan, consultations and coordination between the Arab countries on ways to defuse the current crisis, as well as work to restore stability in Sudan as soon as possible.
