Today, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar. By phone, the parties exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha holiday.
His Excellency also congratulated the Minister on the successful evacuation of citizens of Saudi Arabia and a number of citizens of fraternal and friendly countries from the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom, expressing gratitude for the evacuation of a number of citizens of Qatar, along with his brothers from other countries.
The two ministers also discussed efforts to stop the military escalation between the conflicting parties, stop the violence, provide the necessary protection to Sudanese civilians and reduce the escalation of tensions in a number of vital places inside Sudan.
