His Excellency Robles reaffirmed Costa Rica’s support for the cause of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also expressed confidence in the positive results of economic cooperation between the two countries, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a strategic partner in achieving sustainable development at the local and global levels .
The announcement was made during a visit by an investment delegation from the Kingdom led by Mr. Badr bin Ibrahim Al-Badr, Deputy Minister of Investment, to communicate with investors, during which he expressed the Kingdom’s interest in investment opportunities in Costa Rica in the regions. including air and sea transport projects, water desalination and medical tourism, and encouragement of the private sector in the two countries. Explore investment opportunities and strengthen bilateral friendly and cooperative relations.
For his part, His Excellency Arnoldo André, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Costa Rica, highly appreciated the visit of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to his country, especially given that the Kingdom is Costa Rica’s largest trading partner in the Middle East. region, and the trade turnover between them reached more than 103 million dollars during 2022, as was signed by both parties. During Andrey’s recent visit to Riyadh, an agreement was reached to set up a business council to develop relations between private sector companies in the two countries.
