His Excellency Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, today received the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Yemen, Muhammad Saeed al-Jaber, at the Maashik Palace in the provisional capital of Aden, in the presence of Presidential Council member Aidarus al-Zubaidi. At the start of the reception, Ambassador Al Jaber conveyed greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – to His Excellency, at that while His Excellency conveyed his greetings on behalf of himself and the members of the Council to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Reliable Crown Prince, may God protect them both. The meeting touched upon the situation in the Yemeni arena, as well as economic and service reforms carried out by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government of Yemen, with the support of the Kingdom-led Legitimacy Coalition.
He discussed Saudi Arabia’s mediation efforts to renew the truce, alleviate human suffering, ceasefire and the chances of reaching a comprehensive political solution in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations.
President Fahama commended the Kingdom’s efforts in this regard, building on its early initiative to bring peace to Yemen and fulfill the aspirations of its people, commending the Kingdom’s generous humanitarian and development efforts through its various programs and initiatives led by the King Salman Relief Center and Saudi Arabia. program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen.
