Arabsat, the world leader in satellites, announced today, Saturday, the launch of the Badr-8 satellite from the US state of Florida. The Arabsat “Badr 8” satellite was launched, which will contribute to the expansion of capabilities and the ability to provide modern solutions.
The new Badr-8 satellite is the first of the seventh generation satellites in the Middle East and will provide a wide range of television broadcast and communications services, noting that it includes new optical communications technology.
It is worth noting that the satellite was launched into space after a 4-day delay due to bad weather in Florida.
