Remnant II Will Feature 60 FPS Performance Mode for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Speaking on Twitter, David Adams, President of Gunfire Games, has confirmed that the upcoming Remnant II will feature a 60 FPS Performance Mode for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, he noted that it isn’t locked, so occasional dips are possible.

Answering user questions on Twitter, Adams commented, “Yes. There is a 60fps performance mode on console XSX and PS5. It may dip occasionally but it’s overall pretty solid.” Presumably this also means that Remnant II will feature a Quality Mode, but Adams didn’t say at this point.

New Trailer Revealed
Gunfire Games recently shared a brand new trailer for Remnant II showcasing one of the game’s starting archetypes, the Hunter.
Remnant II is scheduled for release on July 25, 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Like the original Remnant, the sequel takes the form of a third-person shooter inspired by the Soulslike genre, with archetypes able to wield two guns alongside a signature melee weapon. Furthermore, the procedurally generated levels and spawn points from the original have been expanded on greatly.
