ININ Games digs into Taito’s license box again and conjures up an oldie that hasn’t been seen in a long time: Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III (that’s the full title) was originally released in 1991 and will be rereleased this year for all major consoles either as a download or in various limited editions via Strictly Limited Games.

Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III is a classic platform game developed by TAITO that first appeared in the video game world in 1991. As the sequel to Rainbow Islands and the third installment in the legendary Bubble Bobble series, it managed to recreate the magic and charm that delighted fans around the world. While it never made its way to arcades, it instead captivated gamers on home consoles like PC Engine and TurboGrafx, and home computers like the Commodore Amiga. Now it’s time to rediscover the allure of Parasol Stars with its triumphant return to modern platforms!

In this addictive platform game from TAITO, players experience the adventures of two brothers.

The two embark on a mission to save neighboring planets from an evil force. Instead of shooting bubbles, they are now armed with colorful, sparkling and, above all, magical umbrellas.
