Publisher Square Enix and developers Game Studio and KAI GRAPHICS have recently shared exciting updates and screenshots for their upcoming game, Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai. These new announcements provide a glimpse into the unique battle styles of playable characters Dai, Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel. About Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is a thrilling quest that takes players on an adventure alongside protagonist Dai and his friends as they battle the Dark Army and its multitude of monsters. Each character possesses their own distinct set of attacks, guarding and dodging abilities, as well as iconic Skills and Spells from the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai anime series.

The game features four primary characters known as the Disciples of Avan: Dai, Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel. Each character has a variety of unique abilities, including Attacks, Skills, and Coups de Grace, which players can master to strengthen their gameplay.

Character Battle Styles, Attacks, and Skills

Here’s an overview of the battle styles and abilities of each character:

Dai’s Battle Style

As Dai, players can engage in close combat using knives and swords. Dai possesses a Unique Skill called “Draconic Aura,” which significantly boosts his stats. Additionally, he is a master of the Avan Style Sword Technique and has access to powerful Skill called “Wave Slash” and Coups de Grace move called “Avan Strash” to defeat enemies.

Popp’s Battle Style

As Popp, players excel in long-range combat using Magic Attacks. Popp’s Unique Skill, “Meditation,” reduces the recovery time between each of his Skills. He can deal immense damage to enemies using his Ice Skill called “Crackle” and Fire Coups de Grace move called “Kafrizz.”

Maam’s Warrior Priest Battle Style

As Maam, players can attack using a hammer spear and support their allies with a Magic Bullet Gun. Maam’s Unique Skill, “Reload,” allows her to reload the gun during battle. She possesses Healing Spells such as “Midheal” and her Coup de Grace move, “Magic Bullet: Crackle,” infuses bullets with the power of Crackle to damage enemies.

Hyunckel’s Dark Armor Blade Battle Style

As Hyunckel, players can crush enemies using the Avan Style Sword Technique and Dark Aura Skills. Hyunckel’s Unique Skill, “Amdo,” enhances his defense when wearing the Dark Armour Blade. His Coup de Grace move, “Bloody Scryde,” deals massive damage to enemies, showcasing his expertise gained during his time in the Dark Army.

Unlockable Battle Styles

As players progress through the story, they will unlock additional Battle Styles for Maam and Hyunckel, providing access to even more Skills and Coups de Grace abilities to enhance Dai’s adventure.

Maam’s Martial Artist Battle Style

After mastering the “Warrior Master Style,” Maam gains unparalleled strength and agility for close combat. Her Unique Skill, “Focus,” reduces the recovery time between Skills, enabling consecutive attacks. She can launch a flurry of Normal Attacks and Skills, such as “Warrior Master’s Fury,” and finish off enemies with her Coup de Grace move, “Refractor Fist.”

Hyunckel’s Dark Armor Spear Battle Style

By switching his weapon to a spear, Hyunckel retains his formidable strength. He can use his existing Skill, “Amdo,” and employ Avan Style Spear techniques to eliminate enemies effortlessly. His Coup de Grace move, “Grand Cross,” converts his increased life energy into Aura, resulting in a devastating attack.

Release Information

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai will be available worldwide on September 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
