Amazon Renews The Wheel of Time for Season 2: A Promising Fantasy Adaptation
Amazon has shown immense confidence in its highly anticipated fantasy adaptation, The Wheel of Time, by renewing it for a second season seven months before the show even began airing in 2021. Starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine, a member of the Aes Sedai, an order of women with magical powers, the series follows their quest to protect the world from evil. Showrunner Rafe Judkins, a fan of Robert Jordan’s novels, is leading the adaptation. The second season of The Wheel of Time, set to be released in 2023, will adapt the second and third books in Jordan’s series, promising an exciting continuation of the story.
