The United Auto Workers union is considering expanding strikes at General Motors, Ford Motor, and Stellantis plants if significant progress is not made in negotiations by 10 a.m. ET on Friday, according to a reliable source.

Last week, the UAW announced its plan to expand strikes at assembly plants for all three Detroit automakers to include 38 additional parts and distribution locations for GM and Stellantis. However, the strikes at Ford were not expanded due to reported progress in negotiations.
