Overview

Saltsea Chronicles takes you on a thrilling journey in a post-flood world called ‘Saltsea’. As Captain Maja, you lead a misfit crew on a mission to heist their impounded ship and mount a daring rescue. Along the way, you will encounter strange and wonderful communities, uncover a deep conspiracy, and face various challenges and joys.

A Post-Flood World

In this flooded world, the remnants of the past are built upon to create unique and captivating island communities. Each island showcases its own beautiful and beguiling design, created upon the ruins of the pre-flood era. As you explore, you’ll unveil different pathways through a rich and diverse series of islands. The world of Saltsea is filled with surprises at every turn.

Choose Your Priorities

In Saltsea Chronicles, you have the responsibility of guiding the entire crew through the story. Apart from uncovering the mystery of your captain’s disappearance, you’ll also unravel secrets, manage tensions within the crew, and recruit new members to join your cause. Every chapter offers the opportunity to choose which island to visit and who to send on the expedition. Your decisions will unlock unique content, develop relationships, and create or resolve tensions within the crew.

Uncover a Conspiracy

As you progress, you’ll unravel the mystery surrounding your captain’s fate. Was she kidnapped, or did she willingly leave? Keep track of the unfolding events in Murl’s Log and collect records of your encounters as stickers in the Almanac. Each playthrough will lead you to different islands, introduce new characters, and have dramatic consequences for your crew. With the ability to replay from any chapter, you can branch your save file to discover new crew members, explore different communities, and trace alternative pathways through the rich and gripping story.
