The British Prime Minister’s press office announced that the UK will supply Ukraine with 6,000 anti-tank and high-explosive missiles and will set aside £25m for military needs.
“Today, at the NATO and G7 meetings, the Prime Minister will unveil a major new support package for Ukraine. In the package, 25 million pounds for the Ukrainian army, in addition to 6,000 missiles deployed among anti-tank and high-explosive missiles,” he said. The British Cabinet said in a statement.
“The Prime Minister will reaffirm his intention to work with partners to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, including targeting and long-range reconnaissance, as the people of Ukraine face an unfair invasion,” the statement said.
At the next meeting in Brussels, the leaders are expected to discuss long-term military and diplomatic assistance to Ukraine and drastic action against Russia.
