The Ministry of Sports participated in the branch of the Holy Capital with (100) volunteers to provide all possible services to the pilgrims who go to the Grand Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan, as part of their plans and initiatives to revitalize the social aspect, in cooperation with the General Presidency of the Great Mosques and Mosques of the Prophet. Social responsibility to reach one million volunteers by 2030 in line with the goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vision for volunteering.
The initiative was supported by the pilgrims of the target group, who highly appreciated all the efforts made and all the stakeholders, appreciating the effective role of the volunteers of the Ministry of Sports.
It is noteworthy that this program is among the programs launched by the Agency for Sports and Youth under the Ministry of Sports.
For its part, the Director of the Office of the Ministry of Sports in the Holy Capital, Mr. Muhammad Al-Marwan, said that the Ministry has prepared its initiative to serve the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque in a number of service areas and help pilgrims and believers to easily and naturally perform their worship. Cultures and different experiences , which helps achieve the initiative’s goals set in advance, noting that the increase in the number of volunteers will reach (200) by the last ten days of Ramadan.
