The Chinese military on Wednesday denounced the United States after another US warship passed through the sensitive Taiwan Strait, saying such operations are “deliberately” damaging to peace and stability.
The US Navy said the guided-missile destroyer Samson made a “normal crossing of the Taiwan Strait” on Tuesday, in violation of international law.
The United States operates such flights at least once a month.
