After the Release of iOS 16.3, Apple Stopped Guaranteeing iOS 16.2, And the Ability to downgrade is No Longer Available

After iOS 16.3 on January 23, Apple stopped signing iOS 16.2, the previous version of the operating system. It is no longer possible to downgrade to iOS 16.2 after installing the iOS 16.3 upgrade since Apple no longer signs iOS 16.2.

The iOS 16.2 update is often no longer certified since Apple frequently stops signing older versions of iOS after new releases are made to encourage users to keep their operating systems current.

The Freeform app, Apple Music Sing, Advanced Data Protection for iCloud, and other features were included in the big update iOS 16.2. Security Keys for Apple ID are added in iOS 16.3, Emergency SOS is updated, and the new HomePod model is supported.

The initial beta of iOS 16.4 is expected from Apple soon. Still, iOS 16.3 is the only version of iOS 16 that is currently accessible. Following the January security patches for iOS 15.7.3 and iOS 12.5.7, Apple stopped signing iOS 15.7.2 and iOS 12.5.6.
