The Italian government has announced that Prime Minister Mario Draghi will visit France tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Elysee Palace to attend a working dinner on “Consultations and prospects for engagement in the Sahel region” in Africa.

European countries that have joined the “Takuba” force, located in the border triangle between Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali, are planning to reposition power after the Transitional Military Council in Bamako announced against the background that it denied the presence of its elements within their borders. It’s about the outbreak of a major diplomatic crisis between France and Mali.

The Paris meeting will take place on the eve of the EU-Africa summit in Brussels on Thursday and Friday.
