International Cooperation Necessary for Imposing Putin’s Arrest under the International Criminal Court


International Criminal Court spokesman Fadi al-Abdullah confirmed that the implementation of the decision to arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin depends on international cooperation.

Al-Abdullah clarified that an arrest warrant would be sent out to all member states of the court, indicating that non-member countries were not bound by the court’s decisions.

On Friday, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of committing war crimes in Ukraine.
