Kazakhstan reunites with citizen suspected of selling his child for sexual exploitation in Bahrain

Kazakh media reported that the country’s authorities took a Kazakh national from the Kingdom of Bahrain suspected of being involved in human trafficking, who is suspected of selling a little girl for sexual exploitation.

The news site “Kazakhstan Today” stated that “the suspect, a citizen born in 1989, sold a little Kazakh girl for sexual exploitation in the Kingdom of Bahrain”.

The same source added that the suspect disappeared after committing the crime and Kazakh authorities had previously included him on the international wanted list.

Earlier, the media reported that for 4 years the girls were transferred to Bahrain, falling into sexual slavery and minors among them.

According to the Kazakh Ministry of Interior, 39 Kazakh women fell into sexual slavery in Bahrain.

The police are investigating 133 criminal cases related to these crimes, and 48 people, 15 of whom are imprisoned, have been brought to justice.
