Nacon and Big Ant Studios Postpone Release of Rugby24 Game
Introduction
Nacon and Big Ant Studios have announced the postponement of the release date for the highly anticipated rugby game, Rugby24. Originally planned to coincide with the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the game will now be released on January 30, 2024. This decision was made in order to ensure the game meets the developers’ goal of delivering the best possible simulation and a complete gaming experience.
Reasons for the Delay
In a press release, Big Ant Studios explained the reasons behind the delay. The development of Rugby24 required additional time due to the expansion of content and the challenges faced in accessing and incorporating 3D photos of the best teams. The developers aimed to depict the sport realistically and include all officially licensed teams from over 130 countries and 15 leagues.
Gameplay Improvement and Development
The extended development period will allow the team to further improve the gameplay and ensure a more authentic and complete rugby gaming experience. The decision to postpone the release date until just before the start of the Six Nations tournament on January 30, 2024, was made to provide ample time for development and refinement.
Studio Statement
While the postponement is disappointing for fans who were eagerly anticipating the game’s release, the studio believes it is the right decision to ensure a great game for everyone. More information about the release of Rugby24 will be provided soon by the studio.
