Meanwhile, the Civil Defense Directorate confirmed that it was working to “rescue detainees under the rubble of a building containing shops.” .

The statement also indicated that his teams are continuing their work to rescue the detainees after they were able to pull 13 people out of the rubble, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The biggest surprise

At the same time, it was reported that two people died, according to local media, while there is no official confirmation on this matter, nor an estimate of the number of people trapped under the rubble.

As for the biggest surprise, Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath confirmed that the building is relatively new and therefore not dilapidated, and its foundation must be solid, unlike other old buildings in the area.
