‘Turkish.’ eyes On a larger scale share in global services exports

Turkey wants to expand its reach share in global services exports with newly-developed Incentives, Deputy Trade Minister Ozgur Volkan Agar said at the Service Export Summit, held under the scope of Turkey Export Campaign, launched by Sabah daily.

Noting that Turkey has only 1% share in The global Services sector in 2021, with $61 billion worth of Export services, Agar said the country new support and motivation package announced by government in 2022 will reinforce these numbers.

Meanwhile, Associate professor Mustafa Aydin, Vice President of The Services Export Association indicated that the sector, which includes 10 sub-categories, including education, health and port services, manufactures great Turkish contributions economy and the current Account deficit.

It is necessary to create pathways for new initiatives, new fields and markets in services export sector panel.
