“We are all here to defend our independence”, Zelenskyy says in video

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video auto- central tour Kyiv on Friday “we all defend our independence”, while attacks on the country by Russia continues, swearing alongside key aid to stay and defend the capital against the Russian invasion.

“We are all here. Our military is here. Citizens in society are there. We are all here to defend our independence, our country, and that will remain way”, said Zelensky standing outside The Presidency building.

Wearing olive green military style clothing and standing with his prime ministerhead of personnel and others senior aides, Zelenskyy appeared to be responding to pressure from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Sharing the video, European Council President Charles Michel expressed son profound respect to the President of Ukraine and to the people. “The mind of a free and democratic Ukraine is strong,” he tweeted.
