This happened during a press conference held (remotely) to announce the return of the rally competition, which will start from a camp on the Red Sea coast, cross the Kingdom from east to west, during which participants will pass 14 stages. , in addition to one preliminary stage of 15 days of competition, including 3 stages in the Empty Quarter, one of which is a marathon, preceding the exit to Dammam, with the final turn of the race on January 15, 2023.
The 2023 Saudi Arabia-Dakar Rally features 70% new tracks interspersed with many different terrain types; In order to open the way for the participants to explore the most amazing landscapes and archaeological areas in the Kingdom, the participants will also take on new challenges that will increase the level of anticipation and enthusiasm.Special stages between 350-500 km, after shortening the distance of the connecting steps along the course.
