Today, the elite Badminton Championship among youths, juniors, youth and first team for individual play, organized by the Saudi Arabian Badminton Federation, started at the Ministry of Sports in Riyadh and will last three days.
The tournament is attended by 32 players from the categories bada, juniors, youth and the first team, representing 13 clubs: Al-Kara, Al-Ettifak, Kumait, Okaz, Al-Hilal, Al- Nur, Al-Riyadh. , Hira, Al-Omran, Al-Wehda, Al-Faihaa and Al-Adala.
Preliminaries were held today to determine the finalists in the various competitions and categories of the championship, leading to the crowning of the winners at the end of the tournament, which is one of the important championships in the Kingdom, which the federation holds with the aim of developing the levels of players through the fact that it includes a selection of club players for all age groups who finished in the top eight positions during the Kingdom Championship for the 2022 sports season. The tournament also aims to attract talent from participating players to join the national team.
