The 16 middle school teams (15-year-old category) were divided into 4 groups, and the 16 high-school teams (18-year-old category) were divided into 4 groups.
The first group included the champion of Jeddah, the champion of Al-Ahsa, the champion of the Najran region and the champion of Al-Baha.
The second group included the champion of the Riyadh region, the champion of the Hail region, the champion of the El Jauf region and the champion of the Jazan region.
As for the third group, it included the champion of the Qasim region, the champion of the Tabuk region, the champion of the Mecca region Al-Mukarrama and the champion of the northern border region.
While the fourth group included the champion of the Medina region, the champion of the Asir region, the champion of the Taif province and the champion of the eastern region.
The head of the Saudi School Sports Federation, a member of the Supervisory Committee of the School League, Mr. Ali Al-Shaylan confirmed: “The success of the group stage matches, which took place in 47 cities and governorates at the level of the Kingdom, is in line with the high administrative and technical organization.”
