Four members of the Iraqi army were killed yesterday in an attack attributed to ISIS. A security source told Al-Sumaria TV that “ISIS elements attacked the Iraqi army in the Dibis region of Kirkuk province at dawn today.”
He added: “Four Iraqi army soldiers were killed in the attack,” noting that ISIS terrorist elements stole the soldiers’ pagers, phones and their weapons.
It is noteworthy that the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, said yesterday, Friday, that his forces killed two ISIS terrorists in Kirkuk.
Iraqi forces are fighting in a number of provinces, including Nineveh, Kirkuk, Diyala, Salah al-Din, Anbar and the suburbs of Baghdad, to destroy the remaining ISIS elements.
