The Saudi Football Talent Development Scholarship Program concluded today at the Jeddah camp at the King Abdullah Sports City stadiums, where 47 players were selected to participate in the program at its headquarters in the Spanish city of Salou.
The program involved 90 players from 35 local teams during training camp in Jeddah and they were tested through 18 training sessions and a series of technical maneuvers, in addition to taking all technical and physical measurements of all players before entering the technical tests.
The management of the program aims to improve selected talents through daily training, technical lectures, self-development, English language and friendly matches with the biggest European clubs and academies in order to prepare them for professionalism in European and international clubs.
The director of the Saudi Football Talent Development Scholarship Program, Hisham Tashkandi, said the program began this season at the Jeddah camp, which tested a number of players from clubs of various levels, against the backdrop of outstanding talent selected by the technical staff to join the program in the Spanish city of Salo, and said: The technical and administrative staff will prepare technical, administrative and development programs for talents, as well as enroll them in a number of European clubs. for the possibility of concluding professional contracts with them, as was done for their former colleagues last season.
