King Salman Humanitarian and Aid Center “Masam” project to clear Yemeni lands of mines managed during the third week of May 2022 AD to remove 1339 mines laid by the Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen, including 65 anti-personnel mines, 577 anti-tank mines mines, 692 unexploded ordnance and 5 explosive charges.

Masam’s team managed to clear 187 anti-tank mines and 371 UXO in Aden Governorate, as well as 15 anti-tank mines and 5 UXO in Hayes Agency, Hodeidah Governorate, and 5 AT mines in Al-Mudaraba area, Lahj Governorate. .

The Masama team in Taiz governorate managed to clear 8 anti-tank mines in the Al-Waziya area, 28 anti-tank mines and 3 UXO in the Mocha area, and cleared 4 anti-personnel mines, 10 anti-tank mines and 9 UXO in the Dibab area.

This brings the number of mines cleared so far in May to 3,538, bringing the number of mines cleared since the start of the Masam project to 339,431 mines, randomly placed by Houthi militias across Yemen to lead to more innocent victims, including children, women. and the elderly The Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Relief Center, through a project to clear Yemeni lands of mines and help Yemeni brothers to live in dignity.
