The Hindustan Times reported that the incident took place in the city of Ratlam and that the attacker in the video is named Dinesh Kushwaha, who is the leader of the city’s ruling Indian People’s Party (Bharatiya Janata) with his wife. The newspaper stated that the victim was not a Muslim, but a follower of a genetic religion, which is one of the spiritual religions practiced in South Asia, stressing that the victim suffered from some mental disorders related to his age.
