The Egyptian army managed to eliminate 10 especially dangerous terrorists in the North Sinai.

The army announced that it had surrounded a terrorist checkpoint where very dangerous terrorist elements had taken refuge, and a firefight took place, resulting in the elimination of 10 terrorist elements, who were found to have grenades, dates and ammunition. The Egyptian army also confirmed the arrest of another dangerous terrorist who is currently under investigation. The Egyptian army said it had killed 23 terrorists in recent days after preventing an attack on a water-lifting station in the western Sinai Peninsula.

The army showed photographs of its air strikes against terrorist hideouts after the attack, and a military spokesman claimed that a number of terrorist elements had been pursued and besieged in isolated areas adjacent to the border areas, noting that the air force carried out a targeted airstrike on May 7 that destroyed a number of terrorists, terrorist checkpoints and two four-wheel drive vehicles used by terrorist elements to carry out their criminal plans, and 9 takfiri elements were destroyed. It is noteworthy that the Egyptian army managed to prevent a terrorist attack on a water pumping station in the western Canal region earlier this month.

A military spokesman stated that a group of Takfiri elements attacked the western Sinai waters rising point and the elements assigned to work at that point encountered and ran into them, killing an officer and 10 soldiers and injuring 5 people.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed that the attack would not undermine the resolve of the Egyptian state or the Egyptian army in their war on terror. In a post on communication sites, he said that the faithful people of Egypt are responding to the call of their homeland with all courage and self-sacrifice, continuing a unique self-denial and faith that the doctrine of preserving the homeland will not shake. .
