Hezbollah’s drug factories are located in the Akkar region in eastern Lebanon, in the north in the Al-Arida region, and also in southern Lebanon. The types of narcotic pills range from captagon, heroin and cocaine. The cultivation of hashish and opium flourishes in rural and remote areas under the control of Hezbollah.

Captagon is considered one of Hezbollah’s most important financial resources and one of the most famous and lucrative types of drugs, since this type of drug fills Hezbollah’s treasury with hundreds of millions of dollars and accounts for 70% of the party’s treasury.

With the malicious encroachments of the Hezbollah militias, the smuggling of narcotic tablets of various types and types continues, as well as the development of their smuggling by malicious methods and methods, while the export of vegetables and fruits to the countries of the Persian Gulf accounts for 55.4% of all Lebanese agricultural exports, many countries have announced banning the import or transit of fruits and vegetables coming from Lebanon to its lands, and recently the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia succeeded in preventing the importation of 451,807 narcotic amphetamine tablets hidden inside a consignment of pomegranate fruit coming from Lebanon, while the Dubai Police prevented the smuggling of more than a million Captagon tablets hidden in a shipment of lemons, and the Kuwaiti Ministry of the Interior announced that, in cooperation with the Lebanese security forces, it had succeeded in seizing 9 million Captagon tablets before moving them from Beirut to Kuwait.

The death shipments sent by Hezbollah were not limited to the Gulf countries, as Niger destroyed 17 tons of hashish from a shipment coming from Lebanon, and Greece seized more than 4 tons of narcotic hashish hidden in a shipment of candy-making machines. (cupcake), while it succeeded, Italy confiscated 15 tons of Captagon, and the Egyptian authorities managed to stop two attempts to smuggle 10,000 Captagon tablets, and Israeli forces prevented the smuggling of 36 kilograms of hashish.

Specialized laboratories for the production of narcotic tablets

The Hezbollah militia owns many plants and factories specializing in the production of narcotic pills of all kinds. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, there are about 14 drug factories in Syria, including three factories in the southwestern city of Sergaya, near border with Lebanon, in addition to two factories at Rancos, Assal el Ward, Al Jubba and one each at Telfit, Bhaa, Tufayl, Madaya and Al Sabbur.

And the British newspaper The Independent published a map of the factories of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, responsible for the production of thousands of tons of narcotic pills in Syrian territory.

The Independent confirmed the role of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in the production of drugs in Syria to finance its subversive activities, and explained the reason for the spread of this type of drug by the increase in the number of factories and equipment for the production of Captagon, which do not need advanced production facilities, but are sometimes produced in homes .
