“Any political move by the United States and three European countries will undoubtedly lead to a consistent, effective and immediate response from the Islamic Republic,” Amir Abdollahyan said in a telephone conversation with European Union Foreign Minister Josep Borrell. This is stated in the statement of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

The Iranian Foreign Minister considered that the preparation of the bill by Western countries “is contrary to diplomatic practice, hasty and unconstructive and will make the negotiation process more difficult and complicated,” without giving any explanation on this matter.

State Department spokesman Ned Price confirmed on Thursday that Washington has “very serious concerns” because “Iran has not responded credibly to questions from the International Atomic Energy Agency.”

Amir Abdollahyan criticized the visit of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi to Israel, where on Friday he met with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
