The UAE condemned the statements of the spokesman for the Indian Bharatiya Janat Party, expressing its condemnation and rejection of the insult to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation reaffirmed the UAE’s firm opposition to any action or conduct that is contrary to moral and humanitarian values and principles.
The ministry called for the need to respect and not harm religious symbols, counter hate speech and violence, and strengthen shared international responsibility to spread the values of tolerance and human coexistence, and prevent any action that could inflame the religious feelings of followers of different religions.
