Yesterday, HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, sponsored the 11th Local Arabian Thoroughbred Championships, hosted by the King Abdulaziz Thoroughbred Arabian Horse Center at Al Murtahez Equestrian Complex. in Mulham, north of Riyadh. Approximately 350 heads of Arabian horses produced in the Kingdom will take part in the tournament and compete in camel shows for three days.
And His Highness crowned the winner of the championship in the mare category “Layali Al Sayed” for the owner of the Al Sayed stud farm.
The championship is dedicated to the horses that were born and raised in the Kingdom to support the Arabian horse sector and the equestrian sport in general.
