Former Saudi Arabia and Al-Ittihad captain Captain Ahmed Jameel has sent messages of support and motivation to green players ahead of the start of the 2022 World Cup starting on November 20 in Qatar.
Hai Dam is considered one of the best historical defenders in Saudi football, especially since he participated in the World Cup with the national team and has extensive experience in these important football events. The national team has more than 130 international matches.
Jameel told Al-Madina that he has a lot of confidence in the Saudi national team players to live up to the expectations of the fans during the World Cup, especially after the meeting where they faced HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Jamil added, “The players of the national team have a lot of experience, they have no fear, and their self-confidence has grown, especially after the unprecedented support they have received from His Highness the Crown Prince.”
Jameel urged Al Akhdar players to play their first World Cup match in Qatar against Argentina calmly, without stress or rush.
Concerning our team’s defensive line, Jamil explained: “We have well-deserved players in the defensive line who have a lot of experience in these matches, and I am sure that they will present an honorable image of Saudi football in the World Cup, and all the fans present in the stadium should support all players inside the green rectangle and not put any pressure on them.
