The Saudi Arabia team won seven different medals at the Arab Championships in Alexandria, Egypt, which were split between freestyle and Romanian wrestling.
In freestyle wrestling, Munter Abdullah Jindo won bronze in the 57kg weight class, Ryan Mazen Hawsavi won bronze in the 61kg weight class, and Hassan Saleh Barnawi won bronze in the 74kg weight class.
Roman wrestling in the adult category won four medals, namely:
Münter Abdullah Jando (55 weight) gold, Ryan Mazen Hawsavi (60 weight) bronze, Hasan Saleh Barnavi (72 weight) bronze, Ibrahim Muhammad Fallata (97 weight) bronze.
Munter Jando’s gold medal is the first gold in the history of Saudi wrestling in the history of its Arab participation in the adult category.
On the other hand, the Saudi Arabian wrestling team will take part in the Ibrahim Mustafa International Tournament, which will be held in Alexandria from November 12 to 13.
Notably, the team’s delegation includes technical director Muhammad Ahmad Abdo and physiotherapist Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Gharibi.
