Following the conclusion of the activities of the Second Green Middle East Initiative Summit on Monday, November 7, and under the generous patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host a special ceremony. on the evening of November 10, to build on the climate commitments and promises made during the summit to ensure that this unique platform succeeds in achieving practical and tangible results in strengthening regional cooperation on climate change.
A number of ministers from across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East will join a dinner hosted by the Kingdom to promote progress on the “Cleaner Cooking Fuel Initiative” announced by His Highness the Crown Prince during the inaugural edition of the Green Middle East Initiative Summit in 2021. This year’s Green Saudi Arabia Initiative Forum will bring together a group of government ministers, experts and opinion leaders led by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, and HE Engineer Abdulrahman Al Fadhli, Minister of Environment. Water Resources and Agriculture to discuss the progress made in implementing the initiatives announced by His Highness the Crown Prince – God bless him – in the first edition of the forum in 2021 AD.
