Today, Wednesday, from January 11 to January 19, the Women’s International Friendly Football Championship starts, which is hosted by the Football Association at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium in Al Khobar. Teams from Pakistan, Comoros, Mauritius, in addition to our national team will take part in the tournament.
The Green women open their tournament today against Mauritius as they face Comoros in their second showdown on Sunday 15 January and end their campaign against Pakistan on Thursday 19 January.
Hosting the tournament is part of Saudi Football Association Women’s Football Department’s goal of developing the national team.
