“Sport for All” launches the first program for the age group from 35 to 50 years.

The Saudi Sports Federation for All today announced the launch of the first comprehensive program targeting the 35 to 50 age group in partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation to build national capacity, develop, train and implement specialized programs, and implement community programs. which contribute to an increase in the proportion of men involved in sports and women, is part of the strategy of the federation. This partnership is part of the work of the Ministry of Sports, through which it seeks to bring international specialized programs to the community sports sector, in addition to its commitment to support the Quality of Life program (one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs).

Through this programme, the federation is focusing on highlighting the importance of community sports for the 35 to 50 age group as they are the focus of the Kingdom Vision 2030. Application and Implementation The program is designed for 3,000 participants who will be empowered and equipped with the necessary tools to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Sport for All stated that the first phase began with the appointment of 10 coaches of both sexes to a training program specializing in coach education and development at the New Castle United Foundation headquarters, followed by a second phase of specialized training. . in the process of training 225 local trainers on programs prepared in 3 cities in a number of cities in the regions of the kingdom, after which the third stage will be specialized in the implementation of 3 main programs that will be implemented within 4 months in 3 different cities and regions (Jeddah, Sayhat and Al Qassim).

The implementation phase addresses the 35 to 50 age groups through the implementation of a program designed to inspire adults aged 35 and over to continue playing football or playing sports as a hobby, and a walking football program that is primarily designed for people over 50 and older, with the aim of encouraging players to return to playing sports in a friendly environment, this game is ideal for those who want to improve their fitness or those who are recovering from an injury, in addition to a specialized weight loss program designed for people with a BMI of 27.5 and higher.

This program is in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Quality of Life Agenda and aims to energize the Saudi Federation’s Sports for All strategic partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation, which will increase physical activity levels in the Kingdom and enable more people to exercise. healthy and active lifestyle.

In this regard, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Sports Federation for All, confirmed that the efforts of the federation are in line with the constant work in the Kingdom, which continues its steps to become a global economic center and a prosperous modern society, paying attention to its efforts so that the Federation of Sports for All strives to go in parallel and in sync with the transformation that the Kingdom is witnessing, promoting a sports culture and motivating all members of society of different age groups to lead a healthier and more energetic life, as well as increase the level of physical activism in society to keep pace with the goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Agenda.

His Highness pointed to the Union’s determination, in accordance with a precise plan and strategy, to ensure that all members of society have equal access to sports activities, and from this point of view, our partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation aims to ensure the participation of people of a certain age throughout the Kingdom. in sports and physical activity.
