Japanese parliament member Munyo Suzuki said US President Joe Biden did not call on his Ukrainian counterpart, Vladimir Zelensky, for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
In an interview with Shukan Gendai magazine, the Japanese parliamentarian emphasized that Biden was only trying to provoke Russia, thus showing his weakness.
“President Biden tells Zelensky that the outcome of the conflict is now very clear,” Suzuki said. net He should say that he has no choice but to dialogue,” he said.
And the parliamentarian continued: “But Biden is not telling Zelensky about this and is not stopping him, he is just provoking Russia. This clearly shows Biden’s weakness and instability.”
Suzuki believes that Zelensky’s military actions and his rejection of all attempts to resolve the situation by peaceful means could lead Ukraine to disaster.
“Instead of praising his compatriots who are preparing to fight the Russians with Molotov cocktails, Zelensky shouts loudly at them: I will bring the guns. Let’s fight together,” Suzuki said.
The parliamentarian continued: “When I saw this, I remembered images of military Japan where people were forced to shout ‘Victory or death’. And now we know how it ended: the atomic bomb and total destruction.”
Suzuki emphasized that Zelensky’s military provocations in Donbass encouraged Russia to start a military operation.
