The tournament will feature over 6,000 athletes and 2,000 technical and administrative heads representing over 200 clubs from across the Kingdom, in addition to the category of individuals who will compete under the flag of the Olympic and Paralympic Committees.
Players compete in 45 individual and team sports, including 5 Paralympic Games, to win the highest prizes in the region’s history.
The total prize fund exceeds 200 million rials, as the winner of the gold medal in any game receives 1 million rials, the silver medal 300,000 rials, and the bronze medal 100,000 rials.
Basketball is the first gold medal winner of the session as the final basketball match between Al-Ittihad and Uhud took place on Thursday and the winner of the two will receive the first gold.
