Today, under the chairmanship of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports, the Islamic Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports will be hosted by the Kingdom in Jeddah from 7 to 9 September.
The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, will deliver a speech highlighting the Organization’s efforts, the highest priority of youth and sports, and the importance of enhancing their participation in the development of their societies.
Yesterday, under the slogan “Development of youth and sports to build a nation of solidarity”, the work of the Preparatory Meeting of Senior Officials for the fifth session of the Conference of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was launched.
The meeting will discuss the situation of youth in the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as the importance that the Organization and its relevant bodies and institutions attach to the development of youth and sports.
