Jeddah has concluded the Jeddah Ski Slalom Championship, which was held to attract national talent and organized by the Saudi Adventure Sports Federation under the direction of the Mecca Regional Ministry of Sports.
The winners qualified for a prep camp to form the Saudi Arabia Slalom team to compete in international championships on behalf of the Kingdom.
The first day was devoted to the youth category for women and the junior category for men and women, and the second day was dedicated to the youth category for men.
The Dar Al Zikr Theater in Jeddah was chosen to host the tournament due to the excellent sports facilities and the quality of the facilities and infrastructure needed to host such tournaments and sports.
Muhammad Al Nahdi, Executive Director of the Saudi Adventure Federation, explained that the federation aims to attract more male and female athletes to these games in order to develop them locally and then represent the Kingdom in international competitions.
