The bus of the Wydad sports team was attacked last Wednesday evening by some serious fans.
The windows of the Wydad club bus were smashed out as it was leaving the city of Oujda and heading towards Casablanca, with no injuries recorded, according to Moroccan media.
The Wydad Athletic players were forced off the team’s bus in the presence of security personnel who tracked down the perpetrators and arrested some of them while awaiting an investigation into their actions that led to the panic of Walid Rekraka’s coaching battalion. Wydad won the Moroccan Pro League title for the second straight season and 22nd time in their history after a deadly 2-2 draw with hosts Mooloudia Oujda on Wednesday in the penultimate round.
