The previous administration banned fans from the club from last season, and also completely closed the club after the team’s relegation to the first division, and even the retiring administration did not escort any of its members to the club’s headquarters since the relegation. , except for the day of the last extraordinary general meeting.
The sports ministry announced on Wednesday that it had received a letter from Majid Al-Nafi, chairman of the board of directors of the Al-Ahli club, including a request for his resignation from his position.
The Ministry decided to accept the resignation, promising to pay financial obligations arising from the period of the current session of the Council, in the event that it is found to have violated the rules, regulations and circulars applied by the Ministry.
