Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, said the Houthi militias’ attack on the Al-Dabbah oil port in Hadhramout would affect energy supplies and shipping.
At a meeting he held tonight in the city of Mukalla, east of Yemen, Major General Fi al-Bahsani stressed the need to end the dangerous escalation of the Houthis in their strikes against national economic targets and countering any hostile terrorist attacks against security , stability and economy in the country.
Al-Bahsani outlined the swift procedures and measures that the Presidential Leadership Council, led by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, will take to protect the nation’s economic facilities and counter any future Houthi terrorist activities and plans aimed at undermining Hadhramawt by calling on the military and the security forces to be vigilant and increase their readiness to counter any terrorist attack, as well as to activate the role of intelligence agencies in order to track any movements of suspicious objects and stop their criminal plans before they occur, appreciating the support of the Arab coalition forces led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United by the United Arab Emirates military and security services in Hadhramout, and demanded more support and provision of military and security forces with devices AND modern and advanced quality weapons.
