Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Mecca HRH Prince Khaled al-Faisal received the President and members of the Deaf Club in Jeddah at the emirate’s headquarters on the occasion of their victory in the Royal Athletics Championships, in the presence of the Director General of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Sports, Abdulaziz bin Abouda.
Governor Al-Mukarrama of Mecca congratulated the members of the club on this achievement, wishing them success in the upcoming competitions, as well as reaping prizes and achievements in various forums. Club members expressed their gratitude to Prince Khaled Al Faisal for his support and motivation, who will play a big role – by the grace of God – in achieving more championships.
It is worth noting that the Jeddah Deaf Club won first place in the Kingdom of Athletics Championships organized by the Saudi Federation of Deaf Sports at the Al-Oruba club stadiums in Sakak, Al-Jawf region, with 24 teams from clubs and centers from different regions of the Kingdom registered in the schedule for this 2022 Federation sports season and included 12 competitions.
